These Are Your People

Tomika

Founder, Support Coordinator, Legal Brain & All-Round Straight Shooter

Tomika’s the kind of person who backs you in a room full of suits or sits with you while you untangle the latest NDIS mess.

She started Hillebrand Shaw & Co with one client and a stack of admin forms. Now she leads a team that’s grounded, kind, and smart.

She’s got a law degree, a Master of Laws, and she’s been admitted as a solicitor. But she’s also walked beside people she loves through mental health, trauma, and disability systems.

That lived empathy shows up in every part of the work she does.
Tomika believes in hiring people not just for their qualifications, but for their heart.

And it shows.

Garrett

Calm, Big Thinker, Deep Understander

Garrett is the guy you want around when things feel overwhelming.

He’s calm, steady, and smart as hell.

He’s doing a double degree in Law and Business, but it’s his lived experience that makes him different.

Garrett helps with self-care, home tasks, and liaising with practitioners.

He gets it, because he’s done it. And being Islander, he brings a culturally grounded approach that feels respectful and gentle.

He’s not loud. But his voice is always heard.

The One Who Gets You

Bree

Bree has heaps of experience supporting young people on the spectrum and she knows it's never a one-size-fits all. She doesn’t force things. She notices the little stuff. She adapts without making it a big deal.

With over three years of experience and a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Bree knows how to support someone through tricky moments.

She’s trained in emotional first aid, de-escalation, and medical advocacy.

But more than that, she’s genuinely warm and easy to be around.

She’s studying Criminology and Psychological Science, which shows in her thoughtful, steady way of working.

She’s also deeply passionate about supporting young people leaving juvenile justice. She’s all in when it comes to giving people a fresh start.

Max

Quiet Listener, Future Legal Legend

Max is the newest member of the crew, but he’s jumped in with curiosity and care. He’s studying Law and Criminology, and he’s here to learn from the ground up.
What stands out about Max is how well he listens.

He’s not in a rush to speak - he actually hears you.

He’s worked in retail and coached sport, which means he knows how to work with all kinds of people. He’s friendly, thoughtful, and really values making people feel heard. He’s also focused on learning about advocacy the right way - with care, not ego.

Max may be early in his career, but he’s the kind of person who brings calm into a room.

Lexi

Gets It Done. Brings the Good Vibes.

Lexi’s been working in care since she was a teenager, and it shows. She’s steady, switched-
on, and always a step ahead.

She’s got a Cert IV in Ageing Support, is studying Nursing, and has loads of experience
supporting people in their homes and in aged care. But it’s her calm, can-do energy that
really stands out.

Lexi’s the kind of person who sees what needs doing and just does it. She’s bright, friendly,
and makes people feel safe without making a big deal about it.

She’s not one to make noise. She just shows up and gets it right.

He’s currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support, and already has hands-on experience supporting clients with daily living, community activities, and personal goals.

Alex brings a calm, can-do attitude to every shift - dependable, thoughtful, and quietly capable. He’s not about fuss or fanfare - he’s about making life a bit easier for the people around him.

No One Here Is Just "Doing A Job"

We know what it feels like to support someone you love.

That experience is why this work matters so much to us.

Whether it’s a late-night phone call, helping untangle a funding mess, or just showing up week after week, our team brings their whole selves to this.

We don’t care about looking polished. We care about being present.

Your People Are Right Here

This isn’t about ticking boxes.

It’s about finding someone you can trust to walk with you.

So take a look around. See who you vibe with.

And if you’re not sure yet? That’s okay too.

Reach out and let’s figure it out together.

You deserve a team that’s here for you - not just beside you, but behind you too.
