From Pain to Purpose: A Night That Raised $20,499.65 for Jenny’s Place

Sometimes you set out with an idea and a goal, and the community takes it further than you ever imagined.

Our Pain to Purpose Trivia Night was one of those moments.

What started as an opportunity to bring people together, raise awareness and support an incredible local organisation became a night we will never forget.

Together, we raised an unbelievable $20,499.65, with funds going directly to Jenny’s Place Domestic Violence & Homelessness Support to help continue the incredible work they do supporting women and children across our community.

To say we are grateful would be an understatement.

A Community That Showed Up

The success of the night came down to one thing: community.

Every person who purchased a ticket, donated a prize, sponsored the event, bought a raffle ticket, placed a bid, shared our posts or simply helped spread the word played a part in reaching this incredible total.

Seeing so many individuals, businesses and organisations come together for the same purpose was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community gets behind a cause that matters.

A huge thank you to Christie Dawes, who guided us through the evening with sincerity, passion and plenty of laughs, and to Angelo Piccione for his ongoing commitment to raising awareness of the important work Jenny’s Place does within our community.

It wouldn't be a trivia night without a little friendly competition.

Congratulations to our winning team, Trivia Newton John, who took out the top spot and, importantly, the bragging rights!

Between the trivia, raffles, silent auction, prizes and plenty of laughs, the room was filled with an energy that made the night incredibly special.

The Reason Behind It All

While the night was full of fun, the reason we were all there was much bigger.

Jenny’s Place provides vital support to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence and homelessness.

Raising $20,499.65 means this event will have an impact well beyond one night.

That number represents hundreds of individual acts of generosity. Every ticket purchased, prize donated, raffle entered and contribution made added up to something much bigger.

That is exactly what Pain to Purpose is about: taking something meaningful, bringing people together and turning it into action.
