About the Home 

Our Rutherford home has been thoughtfully established for people living with dementia who require Supported Independent Living. The focus is simple: providing the right level of support in a home that feels warm, familiar, and genuinely theirs.

The home offers two private participant bedrooms, spacious shared living areas, a modern open-plan kitchen and dining space, a large bathroom, additional quiet living space and a secure, fully fenced backyard with a covered outdoor area.

The home will incorporate dementia-informed design principles, including clear and familiar spaces, considered lighting and contrast, reduced visual clutter and discreet safety features to support easier navigation and orientation.

Residents are supported to maintain familiar routines and everyday skills — preparing meals, gardening, accessing the community, spending time with family or simply enjoying their own home.

With a small household, consistent support and an individualised approach, our aim is to create an environment where people living with dementia can feel safe, known, respected and connected.
