Bree's 2025 with Hillebrand Shaw & Co

The past twelve months working with Hillebrand Shaw & Co have been a period of growth, learning, and genuine fulfillment in my role as a Disability Support Worker. From the very beginning, I was welcomed by Tomika and Corey into a space that values people first, both participants and staff. This culture has shaped my year in the most meaningful way.

Meeting new participants throughout 2025 has been a privilege. Each person has brought their own stories, goals, and challenges. With this, participants have trusted me to support them on their journey, which is incredibly rewarding. Under the guidance and support of Tomika, I have gained a much deeper understanding of the behind-the-scenes administrative work that keeps disability support running as smoothly as possible. Tomika truly is a powerhouse in the NDIS space, and I am beyond grateful for her ongoing encouragement, education, and commitment to upholding a supportive and inclusive environment for not only our participants but our staff too.

One of the highlights of this year has been the relationships I have built with my colleagues at HS&C. The teamwork, shared values and dedication to making a real difference in people’s lives breeds a strong bond. I am proud to be a Disability Support Worker for Hillebrand Shaw & Co.

Most rewarding of all has been witnessing the progress participants have made this year. Knowing I have played even the smallest role in that progress makes all the challenges worth it. I can't wait to see what 2026 has in store for myself and for HS&C.
